My Account

  • You can use the Save Search feature to receive notifications when a new ad posted on OpenSooq by following the steps below:

    1. Login to your account then select the desired category, e.g: Cars for sale
    2. Use the filters to filter the search results and see the desired results
    3. Tap on "Save Search"

    After doing these steps successfully, you will start receiving notification when a new ad posted as per your selected filters.

  • To change your notifications setting, please follow the steps below:

    1. Tap on "Account" below the page on the right side
    2. Tap the Settings button ( Gear shaped )
    3. Choose Notifications Settings
    4. Turn off or On the notifications as desired

    Changes will be saved immediately.

  • You can deactivate your account directly by following these steps : 

    1-Open Your account.

    2- Click on "My Account "button 
    3- Click on " settings"
    4- Click on "My account settings  "

    5-select Deactivate my account 

     

    * Important Note :  IF You Deactivated Your account , you will not be able to reactivate it or recover the account data

     

  • A user can be blocked so they can not communicate with you on chat on your ads, by:

    1. After logging into your account, open your chats.

    2. Select the chat between you and the one you want to block.

    3. Press the "block" button next to the user's name on the left.

    4. The message "User has been successfully blocked" will appear and the user has been successfully blocked.

  • To change the password on your account, please follow these steps, Log in to your account, click on "Account" and then go to "Edit My Account", then "change password", then enter the previous password, and the new password you wish to add, Make the necessary modifications to change your password, then click on "Save".

  • You can update your account data by following these steps:

     Log in to your account first by clicking "Log in" and enter your email or phone number.

    Then click "Edit My Account" to make edit steps to manage your account (edit name, edit email, change your account avatar, change the password, adjust notification settings).

    Press "Save" to successfully edit your account information.

     

    You can also view your account details by clicking (Edit Account) to show you (the number of active ads and paid ads). You can also update the account and subscribe to the Premium Membership by clicking on "Update Account".

  • You can watch your ad in the section you've posted or it will appear in my ads page

  • To change the password on your account, please follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your account, click on My Account, and then (Edit My Account).

    2. You will find the option (change password), click on it.

    3. You will be redirected to a new page to enter the previous password, and the new password you wish to add.

    4. Make the necessary modifications to change your password, then click on "Save".

  • No, deactivating your account is unavailable at the moment. You can contact the Customer Services section through the "Send us your feedback" menu, located at the bottom of the screen on the left hand side to request it.

  • You can edit the number on your account using the browser on your computer and follow these steps:

    1. Click "My Account" and then "Edit My Account".

    2. You will see the registered phone number in the account, you can edit it by pressing "Change" next to the box.

    3. Enter your new phone number and press "Save" to save your changes.

  • You can access your site account and change your email by following these steps, Click "My Account" and then "Edit My Account" from the menu at the top, then "Change" next to the Email option, Add your new email address and click "Save" to save the changes

    Access the personal email you have added and click on the link in the message sent to you to authenticate your new email in the account.
